The weekend school for the 2011-2012 academic year starts on September 11, 2011. If you have school aged children, you should not let go of the opportunity to instill in them Islamic values. Please contact the School Principal ASAP to register your child.
Good News! Insha'Allah, our community will be producing a monthly newsletter. To make this a useful and sustainable resource for the community, we need the contributions of all aspiring authors. Please submit articles and spread the word to young writers. Topics include community news, current affairs, opinions, analysis, etc.
The current plan is to publish an issue on the first Friday of every month. This makes Friday August 5th, 2011 as the date of our first newsletter (this also coincides with the first Friday of Ramadhan for this year). The issue needs to be ready one week prior to publication to allow some time for review by the board members. Please submit all newsletter contributions to newsletter at masjidikhlas dot org.
